Pipe Plasticization

The ability to plasticize metal tubing sets Fasb Linea 2 apart from competitors. This processing is carried out completely automatically and allows the metal tubing to be covered with PVC starting from six-meter-long bars. The plasticizing process is carried out hot with the subsequent sequence of cutting the pipe in the sizes dictated by the customer’s need and the product.

The special feature of this processing is its integrability with the other stages of the production cycle. In fact, the PVC-coated tube can be bent, drilled, and stamped in a single sequence without any functional limitations or aesthetic defects.

Coating the metal tube with a constant thickness of 1.1 mm gives it electrical insulation and makes it particularly suitable for use in electrical engineering. Other possible applications are handlebars for electric lawnmowers, for pressure washers and industrial vacuum cleaners, frames for electrical panels, crosspieces for roof racks, and interior structures for industrial furniture.
